In August of 2024, I had breast surgery and believed that my life would end shortly. My wish was to make it to Shady Maple one last time. I had surgery in the SPU and immediately left Philadelphia for a “Heaven on Earth” delicious meal. My family did not think I would be able to make it, but the thought of all that delicious food gave me strength. My journey was good and worth it that day.
