My absolute favorite memory was a trip with my senior citizens that I cared for at a senior apt complex. They loved Shady Maple, so I scheduled a trip, and the bus was filled. We get in, and everyone has had their lunch, and it’s dessert time when I hear my name being yelled from a distance. I come running, and they somehow broke the soft ice cream machine! So I see bowls being filled up like an assembly line, and a very kind employee was able to do a quick repair on it. We had quite a laugh, and I told them that I couldn’t take them anywhere. We love Shady Maple and the gift shop.
