My son has a January 18 birthday, so we love to travel from Connecticut to Shady Maple for a special birthday dinner. Some years the line is so long we wait nearly an hour to get in because it’s also a holiday weekend. Totally worth the day trip or weekend adventure to continue the tradition my parents started with the 7 of us children in the 90’s.
