My family loves Shady Maple. We really enjoy coming for special events. We came for our first midnight gladness last year to do some Christmas shopping. It was so crazy; we couldn’t believe how busy it was. But my favorite Shady Maple memory actually took place outside of Shady Maple. We drove to Canada in November, and when we got to the border and my daughter saw the Canadian flag, she said, “Look, they have a Shady Maple flag!”
