Job Summary: The Buffet Attendant/Runner provides an exceptionally clean, attractive, and well-supplied buffet that meets or exceeds health and safety requirements while also providing friendly and professional customer assistance. Main duties include setting up, monitoring, maintaining, and tearing down the bar and assisting customers as necessary.
Duties and responsibilities:
- All employees are expected to uphold our company’s values, vision, and mission in their daily work and interactions, ensuring alignment with our core principles and goals.
- Follow recipes and utilize commercial kitchen equipment in food preparation and storage.
- Perform related food preparation and kitchen environment duties such as stocking, routine cleaning, organizing, etc.
- Utilize the food ordering machine in processing requests for on-demand items
- Set up the bar: perform all set up tasks according to the morning shift checklist
- Monitor and maintain the bar: supply the bar with fresh food – Restock the coolers as needed.
- Tear down bars: clean the area and put away all necessary food and equipment.
- Follow company health and safety expectations.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the management.

Education and Experience: Education and/or experience in the culinary arts is desired but not a prerequisite.

- Bars appear clean and organized, and food items appear fresh, and attractively arranged, are adequately available to customers, and meet health and safety requirements.

- Food preparation processes and buffet attendant duties are accomplished efficiently without hindering the effectiveness of co-workers.

- Must be able to lift, push, and pull 10-30 pounds– 30% of the time
- Be able to move around quickly
- Walking, bending, kneeling, standing, pushing and pulling
- Ability to stand on feet for the duration of the shift
- Occasionally work in a refrigerated environment
