Provides exceptional customer service and assistance in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner. Main duties include filling customer service orders, stocking shelves, cleaning, and utilizing commercial bakery equipment.
Job Function & Duties:
- Assist customers with doughnut orders from the display case including the pies and cakes.
- Maintain an adequate supply of crusted breads and rolls for the display case involving retrieving product from the freezer and baking it off.
- Setup/stock, monitor, maintain, and tear down the retail pastry display cases including the doughnuts, pies/cakes, bread/rolls, etc. cases.
- Reduce/re-price product as needed according to manager’s instruction.
- Utilize the cash register and debit/check machine in processing customer and employee purchases.
- Perform related retail clerk duties e.g. stocking supplies, routine cleaning, organizing, etc.

- Learn multiple job positions/tasks withing bakery retail clerk
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and/or carry objects light and occasional medium weight as defined by the United States Department of Labor
- Must be able to push carts/pull hand jacks skids though the warehouse to the floor
- Must be able to stand on feet for the duration of shift
- Active job which requires walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching,
