SHADY MAPLE FARM MARKET STILL GROWINGShady Maple Farm Market broke ground on September 8, 2009 for a new 14,000 square foot addition to the East Earl supermarket.
Our expansion plans include a new entrance with a carport to protect customers from the weather, new spacious restrooms, additional checkout counters and new tile flooring throughout the store. Our Produce and Seafood departments will be enhanced and repositioned along with combining the foyer meals with a new Shady Maple café.
Shady Maple’s overall appearance will be more open and provide a more convenient shopping pattern. We trust our valued customers will experience a more pleasant shopping experience.

By September 28th the construction site has progressed to consist of a stone base carefully compacted around an underground maze of pipes and foundations.
The 1st week in October the steel columns and beams were set and as of October 13th steel decking is being added to the roof area.
October 22 2009 Concrete was poured for the floors, while work continues on the steel structure.
By early November the parking lot has been graded and curbing poured. Exterior walls have been sheeted, block & brick are being laid.
